If there has been a lost of intimacy both physical and emotional because of stress or activities outside of the relationship. Is it possible to get back on track?

YOu can get back on track if you both want to. It will take a very long time to earn the other persons trust back but if you want it you will need to endore. If you are both cheating well that would mean there is nothing to save. The person who was cheating will have to do back flips for a while but it could be worth the work. Marriage as well as a good relationship takes work each and every day. I have been married for twenty years and I have I am sorry to say cheated. My husband was great and forgave me and we are fine now. This is a work in progress. You still both have to want it.

It takes a long time to have trust in someone that hurts you. Sometimes you never get it back. You just have live through it and find out on your own.
