This season of 7th Heaven - worth watching?

I used to watch 7th Heaven. I even made my husband watch the last few years with me, but this year (at least the start) was really bad and I haven't watch since. Last season's ending was really cheasy with everyone having twins. this season it seemed like there weren't any of the original cast members on the show anymore. The only kids still around were the twins. Did that change? Has it gotten any better? Is it worth watching now?

They signed on for another year with the CW, but most of the main characters are missing now because they thought they were too good for their contracts. :)

Well, the start of the season was just a little on the "rocky" side, but it is slowly starting to get better. The best episode of the whole season so far was when Eric got to visit Heaven for an episode.

I think we are allowed to change shows as well. If it is not good anymore I will not waste my time.

It's gotten a little better, they're playing out the heart condition with Eric until the end of this season. Apparently next season is up in the air. I found that on an interview with the writer, um.. Brenda Hampton? I think if they got rid of that T-Bone kid, and those other two girls, it would be ok. But Ruthie is such a snot now, and Martin is only on once in awhile, Sandy can't act and now she wants to be a minister, and Lucy is a completely different character this year. I hope this year is just them trying to get everyone back into their contracts, and that they can get signed and set up for another season. I would give it another shot, it's not as bad as the beginning of the season, but it's also not as good as it was before this season.

you know i guess your right. most of the original kids in the story is it there anymore. i think thats what the writer and produceer like the plot of the story. but if your an avid fan of them you will like it even if itsnot the original cast already. like they wouldn't grow up. right...

It has gotten a bit better. Ruthie is back on and that helps a GREAT deal. But I am still at the point where I wish they would have ended it where they did. I think that to me was just a great ending. And should have stayed so after all those seasons. I had heard it was between 7th Heaven & Everwood coming back...and they choose 7th Heaven. I would have much rathered them to bring back Everwood. I think they still a bit they could have done with that show. But I am still enjoying 7th Heaven, don't get me wrong.
