Allergic but still love em!

Hi all, I'm pretty allergic to cats, but i still love them. I've heard of the new genetically modified cat thats "hypo-allergenic" has anyone heard of that? Do you guys think its worth it? I mean, the cat costs like $9,000 and again, I really love cats. What should I do?

(Ughh i have to repost everything because mylot did not let me post it for stupid reasons)
Anyways, I think that it isn't worth getting a cat for 9000$ It's really expensive. I am also allergic to dogs and cats and i cannot do anything about it. But i had a dog and i shaved it. By doing so i had no more allergies so you can shave the cat. Another method is to look for a cat that grows hair instead of fur (Im not sure if that is possible but it is possible for dogs)
