If you are newby in terms of web design, etc then I would suggest you to go for blogger and if you can design a web site on your own you could try the wordpress. I personally use wordpress only as it is very flexible and easy to use and collaborate with my website and the comments section can also be modified accordingly and there are also lots of cool add-ons available for wordpress which you can implement it on your wordpress website.

I am having my blog on both Word Press and Blogger. I find Word press very useful because of the ton of options you can have with thousands of plug-ins. But this is possible if you are hosting your own Word Press blog not in wordpress.com
However Blogger is more widely used and very user friendly. And with blogger 2 which has just moved out of Beta it will be more user friendly and more customizable.
Still I vote for Word Press. I m mastering WordPress day by day.

I have been using blogger for quite a while now and I have no complaints to direct towards it. I find it much more simple and user-friendly than wordpress will ever be. If I'm satisfied with what I have, why ever think of changing? I honestly don't see the point. Long live blogger!

I'm using blogger. You can see my blog here: http://gustavoalmeidabusiness.blogspot.com/
I'll be changing to WordPress soon. Blogger seems to be a headache when it comes to formating text. In one of my latest posts (about SteadyDailyIncome) the size of the text isn't well like it should. I just wanted to differentiate the text and the titles, but there are various sizes through-out the whole post.
