World Darts Championship. Did You See The Final?

I watched it... Martin Adams versus Phil Nixon. Martin Adams went six sets to nil up, and was cruising. Phil Nixon won six sets on the trot, to make it six sets all. Then Martin Adams found second wind, and cruised home from there. Now, I'm not a Martin Adams fan. My favourite Andy (The Viking) Fordham was taken to hospital before he could get far, and Ted Hanky, my second favourite, was knocked out in the Quarter Finals, by Adams. Who is your favourite player in the World Championships and why? What did you think of the Final?

i was changing the channel when i came across this darts competition a few days back! really it was new to me and i liked it.

Yes, it's great! They televise it every year around this time, usually close to the beginning of January. The final was so exciting... I hope you saw that!

I watched the match doing my ironing, I usually iron in the kitchen but I could not drag myself away from the telly, nail biting stuff, I haven't watched darts for years, but as soon as I started watching I couldn't stop. Great final!

It certainly was... I thought Nixon was going to come back and storm to victory. As it was, he came from 6-0 down to 6-6. How exciting was that?!? I don't know what you think, but Martin Adams always seems to buckle under pressure, to my mind. He gets a great start, then starts throwing 41s and suchlike. Still, he made it in the end.... JUST! lol. As you say, Minxy... a great final!
