What is the best tool for Instant Messaging.

Alot of my friends use Aim. Some use Yahoo Messenger. Whats the best. have you ever used some of those 3rd party messengers that do all of them? ANy reviews? thanks in advance! :)

I currently use MSN Messenger. In fact, that is all I have ever used and have had no problems with it. I like all the features that goes along with the program as well. I believe now it is called Windows Live Messenger. You can download it here:

Thanks so much for this tip! I really enjoy this software. who knows it might even get me away from AIM :) but trying to convert all my friends to MSN could be tough :)

to me yahoo messenger is the best.
i also used rediff and gmail messengers but yahoo is the best.
