Does anybody know how many books there is going to be in the series? I know there are 11 at present.
I am halfway through the first book at the moment and really like it so will be reading the rest of the series.
Anyone else a fan?

I had heard that he had planned to write 13 books. 13 has been a prominent number throughout all of his books and I think he really wants to end it there. Question is, did A New Spring count as one of the books? I really don't see him wrapping it all up in one more book.

He is currently working on book 12. However it's a debate on if he'll get to finish it or not as he was fairly recently diagnoised with a life threatening disease. Hubby was looking into this a few days ago as he just finished reading book 10. Scheduled release of book 12 is 2009.

I read about the disease but he says he's going to live for another 30 years so he can write all the books he has planned haha
2009 is ages away! Damn I hate waiting lol

I hope he does! We had seen these books around, DragonCon had tracks and panals on these books, and we never read them. Then one day hubby picked up the first one we had laying around (we have enough for a used book store!) and he loved it! So we had to dig up the other's. I'm currently on #3 and can't wait to find out what happens!

I can't say that I am aware of the author at the moment.
Perhaps if you go to a website with the information on it, you might be able to find out that way.

12, just to finish the series
but there are prequel and extensions of other books, so it's growing
but the original plan is 12
