How to get rid of lonliness....

How can ome get rid of lonliness.I somesometimes feel lonely as i dont have good friends here. I used to spend my time in books and computer.During this time i dont fel the need for a good friend.but in some occassion i feel that a friend is necessary whether a boy friend or a girl friend.The problem is not havving friends but i dont have a true loving intimate friend with whom i can share my feelings.
Is there any other methods to rmove lonliess

I'd recommend just getting out and meeting people, especially ones that share your interest. If you have social phobias or problems meeting people, there are always people to talk to to help you through it. Just be yourself, and I GURANTEE you will eventually find someone who will enjoy your company.
