Which do you prefer in sports? College Teams or Pro? I prefer college, especially in football. I think Pro players get paid wait too much for what they do, while the college kids are just out there for fun and the love of the game. So which do you prefer? College teams, or pro?

When it comes to basketball I like to watch college. Pro is too flashy for me and it just seems overrated. Football I watch both. Sometimes it's harder to catch my college team on TV though. I tend to watch more pro football.

Ooh yeah, pro is was too over rated, and the plays are just ball hogs getting 30 points per game or whatever.

I definitely prefer college basketball. It has an entirely different pace than pro ball, which can be showy and sluggish at times and really snappy too, all in the same game! This makes me a little suspect and it smacks of entertainment more than true sport. College ball seems a purer unadulterated form. I have much more tolerance for pro baseball, even though by me, I feel their are similar tendencies across the two sports. College baseball I have to confess is the best and most fun to follow if you can. Always lots of true grit from those young men.

I like college more, it's more unpredictable.

I have to go with college games. They have more to play for because they aren't being payed (except for scholarships). They are also more unpredictable and less polished of athletes. Also, the atmosphere of a college game is unparalleled in most professional sports. There are a few places that compare, but for the most part, professional games are only as much fun during the playoffs.
