What did we do before mobile phones, computers etc... I cannot live without my phone or laptop and sometimes take for granted the technological advances that ave been made over the past 5-10years. What did we do before this?? Becasue if someone was to take it all away now, I would be a bit lost!

Yes, I agree with you. But human living is so adjustive by nature that many adjustments are made by us automatically before we perceive them! So also in absence of the present media equipments our lives are never in stand still. It certainly explores some other methods(may be old) to act and work out! Just think it deeply. Perhaps you may have experienced such incidents earlier those you may recall. Thanks.

A bit lost? If someone took my cellphone and/or my laptop away, my life would be over!!! I don't take them for granted, I think of this every day, and I'm thankful for what I have. I just got a new laptop in August, and it's working great. I love it. I got my cellphone in 2003, and it still works. It's "old" by cellphone standards, but I'm not complaining. As long as it still works, I'm going to keep it. Same with this computer!

Who knows! I can't imagine not having my mobile phone. They're so convenient it makes you wonder what people did before these things :) I know I lived through it and it didn't matter but it seems impossible in todays world.
I can live without the internet but some people you talk to would rather die than give up their internet and you ask 'what did you do before the internet?' and people generally can't remember
