How do you say you are in love..?

This has been the biggest puzzle in life of most of people. We do not know when we are in love or we are just having infatuation towards someday. Does physical attraction is one of the dimension of love. Or is it something else which has no definition. I can atleast sure of on one thing... "if u love somebody today and discover later (tomorrow, of months and even years later) u do not love that person anymore".. then to me u were never in love.. because it never diminish just grows grows and grows.. in that i ve loved a few people in my life..
