A man in Illinois set a new Guinness record for riding a stationary bike, breaking the previous record of 82 hours.
He is a Drug Enforcement Administration supervisor and his ride raised $25,000 for a charity that gives money to the families of slain police officers.
He took a few brief 'power naps' along the way; the record book rules allow a five-minute break for every completed hour of cycling.
I bet his rear end was really sore.
Have you ever done any endurance sporting event or dance marathon, etc.? I ran a marathon (26 miles) once in my 20s.

All I can say is "ouch"! I can't imagine how his tush must have felt at the end, but I'm sure he had built up a tolerance through training. I have never been in an endurance event, but I'm having a baby soon so afterwards, I might say that about a long labor and delivery.

A bike would be especially painful, I would think, unless it's one of those recumbent models where you're sort of leaning back. I've been on a rowing machine for over an hour, and was sore enough after that.
Good luck with the baby... I'm sure it'll be painful, but at least it'll be a lot shorter than 85 hours!
