You live in Canada He lives in New york. You met on the internet. You have been talking over the phone for 1 year. Do you think long distant relationships last? Do you have proof that it does or doesn't last?

how can we believe others who are faraway from us?distance decrease the value of the relationship.internet or telephone is not a medium to check the validity of the relationship.they are only for communication.relationship needs every type of medium and way to come closser.

I also having a long distant relationship right now and it's really difficult to maintain and we encounter a lot of problem and she told me that she had another bf so it really hurts to me but she wants me to forgive her and I love her very much so i forgave her but it really hard to forget!

I have heard of long distant relationships work, but from personal experience they don't work out for me. The guy was seeing a girl while he wasn't with me found out the hard way when he had the gull to come to the area I lived at the time with this girl. So after that I steered clear of long distance relationships.
