Poetry

i love writing poetry and enjoy hearing it as well. i started when i was 12 about 12 years ago! My first poem ever was written for a contest in a magizine that all us preteens were reading..lol it was about my father whom has passed away 2 months prior. Now i write poems when ever i get the chance i have written well over 100 poems all about different things, some about the same person or persons. I enjoy writing them as well as it calms me down when im upset i like to grab a pen and paper and just let my mind do that talking.

I used to like to make poem.. now I just dont have the time.. I used to write poem around 8 years ago, and it was because I have too much on my mind, because I was lonely or because there are issues that I cant talk about to people but feel the need to get it out of my head. It is a great way to express myself and whatever feelings I have bottled up inside. I have stopped doing it now, as I dont really have time for it.. and I feel that it really is not my talent. I've gone back to playing music now.

I am not a prolific writer when it comes to poems but i am mesmerized by such talent the poet has in choosing the right words, lines, and images used to convey the message. You can use your talent in poems to win that person back.

i wrote poems years before, and it really became my favorite past time way back my high school years. but now, i've become too busy with school works, that i don't get to think about what to write. i really appreciate poems, and i started appreciating it when i was still in grade school. my friends and i enjoy reading them because they let other people's emotion flow. they let our lives be meaningful, and helps us to get rid of our problems and alms in life. i'd like to share this poem to you. i didn't write it,but i think it's cute. ^_^ Heaven and Hell if i'd go to heaven and you're not there, i'll meet you by the golden stairs. if you're not there by judgment day, i'll know you went the other way. so i'll give up my angel wings, my golden harp and anything. to prove to you my love is true, i'd go to hell and be with you.
