Do you only rate discussions you start, or do you also rate other's discussions?

I'm new to mylot, and I'm not sure about the whole rating thing. I know I should choose a best answer, but do I need to rate all responses??? It seems like they let you rate responses in discussions other's have started too. What's protocol here???

i do not read and rate all other discussions, might rate the person who started a good discussion but not all the answers. I ALWAYS rate the people replying in mine though, and also hand out a best response to the one that deserves it =)

You can rate all other discussions and responses wherever you think that that deserves for it. I usually rate all good responses and discussions.

No you do not need to rate all answers, you could say that one should do it out of respect for the person who used time to post at your discussion. I try to remember to rate all posts in my discussions and also in the discussions that other people post. And i post positive if people come with an honest answer allthough i might not agree with the person.
