What do you personally think about The Crow movies continuing on, even though Brandon Lee died while filming the first one?
Personally I feel the other movies should not have been made. I think after Brandon died, the entire Crow series should have just halted. I mean they kept milking The Crow likeness for all its worth, and thensome. I mean to be honest lets face facts- the movie would have had a cult following sure, and a goth following i'd imagine, however if Brandon had not had died, the movie would not have been as popular.
And how dare they make a Crow tv series, with some other actor playing Eric Draven? And then mock everything else by adding several different charactors which were never even in the original story?
This latest Crow movie with Edward Furlong is a complete joke! They tossed a silly story into a script, put some white face makeup on him, and thought they could throw The Crow into the title
It makes me sick that someone had to DIE to make a franchise so popular.

Brandon Lee was GOD in this movie. It was a terrific and absolute amazing movie. My personal opinion is that if Brandon had lived through his freak accident, this movie would still be as popular as it is today. As a matter of fact, I watched it yesterday. My tattoo is inspired from this movie. I have the quote "It can't rain all the time" It's a terrific movie. But, as it says, I have only seen the first Crow movie. I will never ever give the time of day to the other installments. And that T.V. show bullsh*t. H to the ell No! I couldn't believe my EYES when I saw it. I think it took about.000008 seconds for me to change the channel. This movie will live on and on and on... It is a classic, a legend so to speak. No sequel, prequel or anything of that matter will ever succeed it.
Rest in Peace Brandon, You are loved :)

I've seen all four of The Crow movies, and the first one is the only one that I really like (and the only one I own).
City of Angels could have been a good movie, if it didn't have such a tough act to follow. Had it been the first or only movie in the series, I think the response to it would have been better.
I thought the third Crow movie would be okay, because Kirsten Dunst was in it. She wasn't bad, but the rest of the movie was so horrible that I barely finished watching it. The guy playing this incarnation of The Crow seemed like he was trying to be Brandon Lee, but he fell WAY short.
The fourth movie was simply attrocious. Maybe, just maybe, if it hadn't been part of The Crow series, I could have appreciated bits and pieces of it (like Dennis Hopper). The reality, though, was that it was a disgrace to the name of the series.
I never really watched much of the TV series, so I can't comment on that. But the fact that the main character was supposed to be Eric Draven doesn't make a whole lot of sense... did the producers miss the part where he finished his mission in the movie?
