Why Einstein was not given the noble prize for Relativity?

Relativity is actually Mathematics & no noble prize is given for Mathematics.

i think this concept was far too advanced for the other scientists to understand

I think the subject of relativity was complex and a totally new concept and very few scientists understood them so they found it hard to accept Einsteins work on relativity instead he was given the Nobel price for his photo electric effect

Nobel prize is not about how difficult the invention is, rather it's about how much benefit can the invention bring to humanity. Does relativity theory bring so much impact to humanity? Anyone pls share what you know
