I think being single is not bad. Its just on your preferences. There are lots of advantages of being a single that most of us don't care to think of.

being single is nice. as long as you have someone to warm your bed for you. being single can lead to lonliness but also leads to no tensions. you do what you want when you want how you want. ah such bliss. being twice married i wish i had remained single.
