Some people say that they are Christians when they are not because they do not follow the Holy Bible.
I am a Christian, a member of the Church of Christ headed by Christ, and I follow the Holy Bible which is complete and so whatever be in life, I use the Holy Bible to answer whatever. I base my actions and speech on the Holy Bible.

we try to do that! I am christian, I believe in God even if I don't go often to Church. I don't know Bible so good. Our religion is a free one, each one is not forced to do something or something other. When in Bible there is not an explanation, I think that is destiny that brings certain things in life. God know our destiny, even if each one of us is free to make choice. All is already written, our choices too

People of the book, whether christians or otherwise, do this.
Although the Bible provides the answers to most concerns, it does not provide answers to a lot of concerns in the nitty gritty of everyday living. It will not tell you what is better Athlon or P4, Desktop or laptop, cable or wireless. Chicken or pork, Engineering or Social Sciences etc. In matters of faith, morals and the hereafter, yes, the Bible is always quoted.

I'm Christian and I definitely don't do that. I find it very annoying. It's almost as if the person doesn't have their own opinion, so they quote the bible or tell you what the bible says. I'm sure that if the person wanted to know what was in the bible, they would have checked it out first and wouldn't have bothered to ask you. But hey, it's just my opinion.

The only book you can find the origin of Christians is in the bible. So, they should based their belief in the bible. Those who don't are just alleged Christians and not real ones.

I think all religions use their own beliefs to explain the world around them.
How many times do you hear both moslims and chritians put a full stop to debate by simply stating its god's will? I think religion atracts the sort of people who seek answers, if the answers are not forthcoming from their own life experience they will turn to the supernatural. Until science answers questions adequately, some individuals will always seek answers in this fashion, logic or reason plays no role, and we challenge them at our peril
good luck
