How many people like nursury rhymes and why?

well I like them for their simplicity an because they were my stepin stones in language

I like them because they are fun and upbeat. I too have find memories of saying these as my first language unveiled itself. I lOVE teaching them to other children too because you know they will always remember something from their childhood.
