Why do only rich people participate in reality shows?

We'v seen celebreties and some other rich person taking part in reality shows.Do u think that the need the prize money?why don't the poor people get a chance to take part in that shows who needs the money most?

well i cant say the fact things......but 1 thing is sure tht the organiser want to make their show very popular...and can earn money........this is truth....of the reality show.......
