why does she always lie

i was just wondering what are "little things" you meant?if you really love your gf,you should trust her.otherwise, your relationship will go astray.anyway,about lying, there's this saying that,"what you didn't know, won't hurt you..."aren't you too possessive?maybe she wants some breathing space that's why she's making some white lies...if you don't trust her in any way,then maybe it's much better for both of you to part ways or if you really love your gf,try to talk things over in your best behaved manner and asked her ones and for all why is she lying to you...or better yet,lay down all the cards both of you so that you will know each other's restrictions...

According to my research, the most common reason people lie is to avoid confrontation. Lying is a band aid solution. If your gf is a chronic lier meaning she lies for no reason at all, she needs some help. The worst lies are the ones you tell yourself. Basically, she is trying to spare your feelings.
