My girlfriend and my one year anniversary of being together is coming up very soon (on the 18th!) and I was thinking of getting her something really cute instead of something expensive. I was going to get a dozen roses and maybe some chocolates and a teddy bear. Does something like that sound good, or should I go all out and buy something expensive?
I was also going to make a card (I'm not very creative and have never done it before, so I thought it'd be kind of thoughtful) and I was going to put a poem on it. Tell me if this sounds good, or if I should do a different one. Thank you! Here it is!
One Year of Holding Hands
One Year of Hugging
One Year of Laughing
One Year of Cuddling
One Year of Loving
One Year of Kissing
One year of Touching
One Year of Romancing
One Year of Your Love
One Year of My Love
One Year of Our Love
One Year of True Love
Baby, One Year With You
Is A Year of Happiness
A Year of Passion
A Year of Joy
A Year Blessed

Have you thought of making a collage out of pictures that you have of the two of you together? If you use pictures from the entire year, it can tell a story of your year together! Just get a piece of poster board the size of your frame and use spray glue to attach the pictures in a great random fashion! It is better to cut the pictures and use only portions of them.(I would make duplicates of the pictures so as to have the originals unharmed) Add your card and a box of chocolates and any girl should be in tears!

Those both sound good, and I agree, a poem is great. BUT WRITE a poem! Or, do you have a song together? If you do, come up with different words for the song for her, and make it fit your relationship more.
