I think that the letters R A B is Regalus Black....... but he may also be Snape........ J.K.Rowling never mentioned his wizarding name in any book.......It was a shock 4 us when we knew he was the HALF BLOOD PRINCE...may be now he is R A B .......wot do u guys say?????

I haven't heard anything rumor wise as to who RAB is in the book but it being a Black of some sort makes sense. With Snape it was a surprise he was the half blood prince but I doubt he is a Black, if so I doubt he would have had such a grudge against Sirius and he would have known that Sirius could become the big black dog. So I doubt it is him. Who it might be though I have no clue however another Black is the logical deduction. Hopefully it is someone who can help Harry out.

Regalus Black... that sound like a good guess... well, it could be another Black and perhaps someone new and not introduced yet in the series... I doubt it was Snape but I was v. surprise that he was the Half Blood Prince alright...

RAB is definitely Regulus 'watever' Black ...It is just obvious...and J.K herself confirmed it. If anybody has to die in the 7th book ..it sud be the 'good-for-nothing snape. :)
