carrick , is he worth of replacing keane

for me a player of his stature, discipline, n skill is hard to find... well carrick is a good emerging player but not to fit his shoes ..... for starting eleven, player has to b like essien ,makelele, gilberto....

He still not showing his full ability on the field. Keano is the defensive midfielder,meanwhile Carrick is originally the attacking midfielder back in Tottenham Hotspurs. So maybe he can't adopt the new position given by him. But I'm sure that next season he'll be better and can give more impact on Man Utd performance!

NO
cos carrick is a replacement for scholes
he is not a ball winner
he is a distributor of the ball
passes them with both feet
creates the game
someone like fabregas or riquelme
if u want a replacement of keano
go and buy Owen hargreaves :)

Michael Carrick is an emerging player. He has not yet showed any sign of being able to match Roy Keane, but I think he is on his way. He is still young and I am sure that with the number of matches, he will find his place in midfield and may be a great replacement for the famous No 16 shirt. He is still young and I am sure in a near future you will praise him as you are doing so for the likes of Makelele, Gilberto,etc...
