It will be both bad for the team and for him too. His ODI performance has not been very consistent in the last few games and he wont be able to carry the extra burden of captaining the team. That will severely affect his performance. History has also taught us that he doesn't have the enough leadership skill when compared to the likes of Dravid and Ganguly.

sachin should be made the vice captain..we can use his vast experience as a strong and lethal weapon against the strong opponents..and also he is a very smart and thinking cricketer and he has the ability to take the team out of trouble..

ya we know much earlier than you... I think he is a gud captain as i say again and again in all the discussions.. I think he can really do it.. and especially at this stage when india is really in need of some good experience players to rock the game... So just lets hope..

i definetly say as captain of indian cricket team,he will do miracle for the team.coz he is very experience and one of the best player in the world and have great records with his name.
