I had a really good day yesterday (Jan.14). My hubby decided to slow dance with me right in the living room, (he put music on just so he could). It was so sweet. Since money is so tight, we didn't go anywhere, but we still made it a nice day at home. I had been buying stuff for the last 2 months, so I could make him one of his favorite meals.;) I made him a big porterhouse steak covered in mushrooms, a baked potato with real butter & sour cream, fried corn, & garlic toast. For dessert I made his favorite, Chocolate Delight. I also made Chocolate covered strawberries. YUMMY;)
If anybody would like recipes for any of these dishes, just ask & I'll post them. I'm adding the picture of the main course here. I'll add the picture of the desserts & us slow dancing in my pictures.
LOL, I'm usually on here every day, but I missed yesterday. (now you know why);)

Congratulations, sounds like you had a really lovely day and is so great that you can still be so romantic after being together for 20years! Sounds way better than going out and spending loads of money and shows the things that are important in a relationship. Food sounds good too, ooh, I keep getting drawn into the discussions that involve yummy sounding food when I'm meant to be trying to lose weight, not good!!!
