Join a networking club in Michigan/Downriver area

Hello everyone, I am a sales rep. for a large janitorial company. It has been strongly suggested I find a networking group to join. My teritory is in Michigan in the Downriver communities. I have no idea where to start.

You can try BNI -- but it is pricey and I don't really care for it. Instead I've been looking into the business oriented MeetUp groups.
