is it a ghost or and angel

I'm not sure if I believe in angels, but i sure believe in ghosts. My grandmother died back in on feb 29th 2000(i think) anyway, a couple of months later i was driving down this really curvy road and going about 55 mph. and my grandmothers' voice was yelling at me that i better slow down, almost like she was punishing me. So i slowed down as i turned this corner and i slammed the brakes on, because there was a farmer's tractor broken down in the middle of the road. Which i would have hit, had i not slowed down, this tractor had the huge blades on it sticking up, and if i had hit it, i'm sure that i would not have survived. But my question to you is, how do you know if its and angel or it it's a ghost, i'm not sure.
