why do people do drugs?

I need to ask this question. Why do so many people turn to drugs? I don't mean prescription drugs, I mean the REALLY hard ones, like coke, pot, heroin, that sort of thing.
I mean don't people read the newspapers, and see the media? The web reports? All of the tests which prove these drugs CAN and WILL kill you? Why do people still insist on doing them?
I am sorry, but I never felt the need to turn to drugs, I don't even smoke. I refuse to touch anything which can do those horrible things to your body. Personally to releave tension, I would rather go outside and kick some wood around, or go for a walk, or go scream into a pillow. Why turn into something that deadly..

To feel a high. to look cool infornt of the friends...to hang out with a certin group,tyo feel better about themselves.....to be takeing a risk...

Possibly according to my view medicines of that kind were as true as him only to in utilised for sudenly then.
but most communities used in an excessive manner, therefore efek samping
him became addiction.
Inded this world was too beautiful, what next if we in the siyuation used cocain, and medicines were banned that, and same in caused by the association also.

yes thats a nice question. even i think so why do people take something which they know will kill them slowly and they have to suffer a lot from it. what is the use of these things. you get fun for some time and then pain for life time.

On my opinion, its because of not having discipline by their parents / guardians, to avoid things that will kill them! I believe if a kid was train with disciplie, when he grow old, he will not depart from it!

When I was younger at the age of 17 I started doin
weed, because my cousins used to do it, and I felt
left out and I wanted to see what was the big fuss.
They all said that you feel good and just chill.
I also did coke which that was peer pressure but
I wanted to do that to, you feel this energy rush thru
you and well I like it. but see I stopped because
i wanted to I wasnt addicted like some peoples I know,
I can actually stop when I wanted to. I havent done that
since I was 19 before I got pregnant when I found
out I got pregnant I immidiately stopped, and havent
done it ever since.
