Hey how come no-one seems to be patient these days? It's funny how everything seems to be served up super fast now... if it doesnt come quickly then its not worth having! Like u have fst food, drive thru everything, express delivery, which hey is fair enough bt sumtimes i wonder if its makin us live to fast. I mean even me this mornin, I orderd a new cd off amazon, and its jst come out today... wen i saw its not been posted yet I started to worry! 'Oo I wonder if I should order it from somewhere else' and all that.
I mean, I have to be really patient right now... Im on this course that basicaly says you aren't allowed to date anyone. But I've met this great girl we really like each other... and we have to wait til August before we can do anythin! I mean if thats not testing patience I don't know what is. So... can't we all learn to take stuff a bit slower and just wait now and again? Cheers

What makes most people not be patient these days is just because of time consciousness.

It's fun to be laid-back and watch people running in circles like headless chickens. There was a movie called "Before Sunrise" and in it the lead character said: (summarized)
"Why is it that people rush? They rush to work, then rush home and rush through dinner. They rush in their cars and they hurry hurry hurry to get more time. What do they do with this time that they get? Nobody ever says 'Oh, I took all that extra time I saved today and went to a Buddhist Temple!' They just go home with all their extra time and plop in front of the TV and waste it."
