After the disaster of Tsunami that hit indonesia, thailand, srilanka and india countries are putting in the Tsunami warning system on their coastline. My question is will human lives be spared even though we receive a warning of tsunami. Are the governments well equipped to enforce an evacuation programme as soon as we receive a tsunami warning.

warning will be help full, because the people should know and take precaution before a disaster arrives. I like your cat running, have you given a warning of some sort to this thing? (joke)

That´s a good question, if doesn´t exist a good evacuation plan the warning system is not useless , then many people in panic will die. All that countries have to make a great evacuation plan, and spread the word to populations and then maybe that system will work.
