can anyone tell me where the term 'caesarean section' originated

this was a term developed from the writings relating to the birth of julius ceasor ( 100 B.C - 44 B.C) he was cut from his mothers womb because they were keen to get him out.

LOL! I somehow heard that the Emperor did not like his wife to deliver through the normal way and so he had her child delivered through an operation. I don't know the facts really. I don't know even which Emperor, Julius or any of the others.

your comment made me smile funny how our partners like us to do certain thing but giving birth is the most natural thing in the world why could he not be happy for her to give birth this way she gave his son life after all bless you tc xx
