Best Videogame series

Hey, I was wondering what you guys think the best video game series is. My personal favorite is the Metal Gear Solid series. Hideo Kojima is a genius. I think the best game is the original for PS1. What do you guys think?

What is so great about zelda. I played it in the N64 days, but never got into it. Whats the big zelda deal? I don't mean to be rude, but I never quite figure out, why its so great.

It is probably because of the first zelda game released for the nintendo entertainment system it was great. You could save at anytime and it had adventure and rpg elements in it. The world was pretty free and you could move in whatever direction you wanted. That was pretty good for its time.

kojima's good, but ive recently lost a little respect for him. i presume your all aware of the game Okami. its a game, for the DS and ps2, in which you fight WITH A PAINTBRUSH-object. keep that in mind. recently, kojima was quoted saying he doesnt think video games are art. wassup with that? anywho, his work has bin amazing with the metal gear series. devil may cry is great. some of you may disagree with me, but i LOVE the dynasty warriors series. dothack is awesome too. and of course, the grandaddy of all series': final fantasy. hands down, the BEST series ever. ever. no. no. ever.

I deffinitly LOVE Metal Gear Solid, especially the PS1 Game. But I also love the Zelda games. The Ocarina one for N64 was the best I thought!
