I have been thinking about buying one myself. I found a few on TigerDirect's website that would fit into your price range, dependent of course on your intended use. Did you want to buy one already assembled, or are you interested in a barebones system that you have to assemble yourself? Then there is the question of AMD or Intel for your processor. Systemax makes some good systems, and you can find several refurbished Gateways and E-machines as well.
