The growing mylot problem

I guess that I've never tried to log out purposely *laugh* So I don't have that problem. But I have noticed quite a few glitches and bugs on Mylot these past 4-5 days. The site runs really slow at times, especially in the mornings. I often get those 'unable to post' errors that you were talking about. Mainly yesterday - I got tons of them yesterday *laugH* Today, it's been worse. Sometimes when I go to post, my post just dissappears and I get kicked back to the topic page, and I lose the entirety of what I had taken the time to write out. I have had this happen at least three times today, but I still keep forgetting to copy my own posts into the clipboard each time before I post. I'm trying to do that some of the time, though, to cut back on the chance of having to totally re-write what I've written. I'm sure that Mylot are working on fixing these problems as fast as they can. I know that they don't want the users to get discouraged. There is just so much traffic on the site that it is bogging things down, methinks.

I hate this it happens all the time,it happened to me just now when i went to post this and i had to go back and retype everything over again ,its very annoying.

ave a problem since from 20 days to open the site it takes lot of time to load it is really time consuming,i got fed up of waiting before monitor

Yes this will happen from time to time. My Lot is growing and the servers are bogging. I have been here 2 months now and the membership has doubled within that time. You can expect this with any program that is online. They will always have growing pains. It just takes a little patience.

Hi I have experienced the logout problem once or twice. But I don't find problem in browsing through myLot, the speed is all the same. Have you tried cleaning up your temporary internet files and other junks in your system? Clearing the cookies helps to solve the logout problem sometimes. Don't forget to delete all the temporary files in My documents and settings folder...from Run-type "%temp%" without" ", press run. Select all files and delete it permanantly...hope this helps..

This happens to me sometimes but it's not a constant problem.. sometimes it gets slow for a bout 5 minutes or so then start to work normal again, I saw the "unable to post, try again" a few times but again it's not a daily thing, just every now and then and it happens only once, next try it goes just fine .. anyway with a site as popular as mylot we can expect some overload sometimes.. I'm sure they will always be upgrading to allow more traffic and users.

No i dont face such problem.. Its working fine at my end.. it can be problem with slow internet speed.. try from some other computer.. u mit not face such problems...

I notice it too, although not to the extent you describe. Wish I had some advice to give. ;-/
