I think the best tip I can give is to keep your goals small and reasonable. When you set goals too large at first, which we all have a tendency to do, then the chance for failure is higher. When you set a small goal, and make it, then you feel a sense of accomplishment, which encourages you to do more!

Thank You! I have set many small goals but sometimes I get carried away and always think they are too small. And I realize yeah we all have a tendency to what something of a much bigger size than we have, or to do something of that sort.

Well first, you could give yourself more time.
But if that isn't an option. The best way to accomplish a goal is to break it down into mini-goals. It feels easier to do a mini-goal because it maybe only takes a few steps or an hour or so. Then, you feel motivated each time you've completed a mini-goal. When you do it this way, instead of focusing on that big task that seems so complex, you are focusing on small goals that you can complete easily.
So next time you have a project, make a list mini-goals that will lead you to the main goal, than start going down the list. Enjoy!
