Solitude brings joys; but in my view, it needs to be offset by healthy contact with others.

No
To use the term "all" means that there are no exceptions to the rule and of course there are geniuses out there who live normal lives and normal relationships.
I do believe that solitude is important in anyone's life.As the old saying goes.....if we can't live with ourselves, how can we live with others.

I like that saying; and I've never heard it before. But you are right: there are many geniuses who live normal contented conventional lives.

Mostly Genius thrives for loneliness.
But people who likes loneliness are not Genius. So both do not go together. Its a matter of one's choice.

Well most geniuses in the past are examples to ur statement ....but no...NOT ALL geniuses are lonely...I've got friends and i know ppl i've seen in my life who r extremely brilliant and have gone to higher places already and i can tell u they r not like that...if u r talking about celebrity geniuses i dont know...but even then if any of my brilliant friends turns out to be one I wouldn't be surprised
