can you honestly keep a secret?

when someone asks you to keep a secret.. do you really keep that secret?

I'll take it to the grave. My best friend asked me why didn't I inform her of something I knew that was suppose to be a secret. I told her that I gave my word I would keep it a secret.

yes, especially if the person who told that is one of my closests friends. I hate persons who cannot keep a secre.

when someone shares their secrets with me, i try to always keep it a secret. these people gave their trust on me and i should always keep that trust alive.

when i had my chance, i usually went and rat all secrets out to everybody. that was when i was a kid. now im old and tried to hard to keep secrets and i did, now people dont want to tell me their secrets.
