why there is winter and autumn?

I just thinking and asking my self why there are so many season of weather but theres only one planet earth . i am just curious..

autmn is the inbetween stage of winter and summer due to the differences ion poles temperature some of the region in the world faces autmn to make the new life. or in other worlds like human skin plants changes the old skin and takes the new from nature .
