Do you do the dishes after each meal or at least Supper?

I am one of those people that prefer to clean as I go. LOL This way, it is not as much of a mess when I am done and the only cleaning needed then is to rinse off some plates and silverware and add it to the dishwasher!:) I love my dishwasher!!! I would never want to be without one again!!! And if I had to choose between the internet and a dishwasher, the dishwasher would win because I have my books to fall back on then. LOL

today it was after every meal. It usually depends on how much i worked that or hoe tierd and lazy im feeling

I try to after every meal, and every dish is definately washed before I go to bed, because we had a mouse the other week, and I don't want a single scrap of food sitting around to entice another to come visit!

I am so busy during the day with cleaning, cooking, chasing after a 2 year old, and home schooling my older 3 children, that I almost always do all of the days dishes after dinner. There are times when I have a little extra time during the day, so I'll try to throw a few things into the dishwasher.

Breakfast around here is at all times because of work schedules. So I do them in the early afternoon (whatever is there) and again after dinner.

I try and do the dishes whenever I see any in the sink.

I do the dishes after each meal. I like the kitchen to be neat and clean all the time.

I hate to have dishes in the sink. i try to wash them as i see them. but for the most part, i just wash them at the end of the nite

I always do the dishes after supper most definitely. Usually when I cook I tend to use a lot of pots.. So if I don't clean them they just keep on piling up.. And having to walk in to a room & seeing that there are dishes piled that high would make anyone want to get to them as soon as they can. I usually end up doing the cooking a large majority of the time & because I had cooked.. My other half will tell me not to touch the dishes & that he will do them.. In which he usually always does.. But sometimes I like to help him out by washing a lot of those dishes & then have him dry them. I find when there are two people doing the dishes together that it tends to go a lot faster compared to just someone doing the dishes by themselves.. Another thing.. If I didn't do the dishes after supper & had left them over-night.. I know that I wouldn't dare be able to sleep if I was to just go to bed & leave them.. I'd end up having to get up during the middle of the night & do them.. Plus who really enjoys waking up to a sink full of dirty dishes?! It really sets a person back.. Especially if you are heading out to go to work, or you may have other things to do around the house even.. It just adds to the things you have to get done the next day.. And that is not fun.. If I was to do that I would never be able to sit down until late at night.. As I usually have other things to do a lot of the time quite honestly.. All in all I am just glad that I have someone like my other half who is willing to help do the dishes for us every once in a while.. Or at least help me out with the dishes as he know's how cooking can take quite a while to do by yourself. A sink that is NOT full of dishes is what I like to see more than anything! . .

I do my dishes after each meal.I don't keep the dirty dishes over night.I don't have the habit of leaving the dirty dishes unattend.Even after I finish a cup of drink, I will wash it straight away.

I hardly ever clean the dishes right after every meal. I usually put them in the dishwasher before bed, and sometimes that doesn't happen so I put them in the dishwasher when I get up.

i do my dishes after every single meal infact if i drink out of a cup, i will wash it and put it away, simply because i know if i didn't do that, then i would have a huge pile of dishes and then i would probably leave them till midnight to do them and start winging that there's too many because if i did go to bed and leave them i can't sleep properly if i know there's dishes to wash, lol.

i do it everyday.... & specially with family gatherings :)

I am sorry for talking about that. I havent wash dishes before, but i do cooking many times from my 14 years old. Mary

I try and wash dishes as I dirty them, that way I have less to worry about later one, but that's since I live in a dorm room. When I'm at home, dishes are finished after the last meal of the day.

Hehe, when my husband and I first got married we swore up and down that we would do them after every meal, but we have found that it is very hard to do that!! We don't have a dishwasher, so we have to do them all by hand. Usually we end up doing them every couple of days when they start piling up, but we are getting better about doing them after every dinner. That is our goal right now, to do them after every night's dinner! :)
