Well yesterday was the 5th birthday of my Little Man. He is the perfect pet of course. A bit loud a times, but has unconditional love. He knows who his pappa is and of course never forgets Grandma and Grandpa. They are very proud of their "grand dog". Regular update and photos are exchanged with updates. The Miniature Pinscher is also known as the king of the toy dogs. First bred to hunt mice and rats. Born out of Germany, Zwergpinscher is their name. Despite his look, the Min Pin is not a "Miniature Doberman. The Mini Pinscher is also known as the "King of the Toy Dogs". Similarities between the two may result from a common genetic relation to the German Pinscher. My little man loves to be a lap dog, but also acts very cat like and sits atop the back of the sofa in his place. To view the world and ready to pounce. Having been told he is a little napolian as well. He is not afraid of anything and stands up regularly, in his full 11 pounds, to the neighborhood 75 pound dogs. Hope you have enjoyed my short notes on my babby.

It's amazing how brave those little puppies are. My aunt's pinscher was a real tough cookie too!

Welcome to mylot. Thank you for sharing that little story about your dog. I could not imagine having such a little dog. I have four rather big dogs with the smallest being about 80 pounds and the biggest being about 120 pounds.
