What is the obsession with smoking??

Maybe it's because, as Bob Newhart observed, it really is absurd to pick leaves from a plant, roll them up in a piece of paper, stick it in your mouth, and light it ON FIRE. But of course, that's JMHO. :)

Please allow me to explain possible reasons for this sudden surge of interest in smoking: 1. I dunno what to post & am too lazy to reply 2. I dunno to put "smoking" into the searchbox to see how many thousands of times it's been done 3. I'm such an addicted smoker that I can't get it off my mind 4. My hypnotherapist said in order to conquer the smoking addiction, I must post about it daily and never answer a similar thread 5. Smoke rings fascinate me 6. I was looking to see if Smokey the Bear is a member here so he can teach me how to prevent forest fires since I am the ONLY one who can prevent forest fires. Hope that clears things up for ya...I need to go smoke.
