I think things would be alot better if they would allow prayer back into the schools. What do you think?

Yes. But not just prayers, why not allow someone to conduct bible studies or small groups that can teach more about the Bible and to make student's know more about God. At this way you can enlighten and help people by introducing them to have a relationship with God.

They could make it an elective like band, or chorus. That would be a really awesome thing. Good idea!

I agree. Although, it must be done with respect for those who do not pray. I think the best way to handle this is a period of silence in the morning where students can pray if they wish, or do whatever else they desire, but they must be forced to respect the silent reflection of others. Student led prayer at football games and other school events would be supported.

Thats a good idea. Thats what we used to do in our school. At least give them the option. Thanks for your input.

No,this was forced on me and all children when I was in school and all it did was make me hate it more. If you must believe in religion,do so in the privacy of your own home. this brainwashing has gone on far to long, and is the major cause of almost every war there ever has been and ever will be. I apologize for my bluntness, but I believe we must look at all sides.

I do look at all sides. And Im not trying to force anything on anybody. But why can't I say a prayer at school if I choose too, just because you don't believe?

Maybe it will but it is a bit dicy. If we have to pray in schools, to which or whose God do we pray? I it to God of Abraham that revealed Himself in Jesus Christ, His only begoten son, To Allah whose prophet is Mohamed, to Budah or Satan as in Satanism? This proposition would work better in a mono-religon community except we all agree the claim that one religion is superior to the other. It may not work well in secular state and schools own by government. If the government would allow every religion present have and establish schools, then parent can send their wards to which one is best suited for them.

Again, I am not trying to make anyone pray to anybody. But a moment of silence to pray to whoever you want to or if you choose not to pray at all is fine with me.....Im just saying it shouldn't be taken out all together. Students should still have the option.
