Do you still use film?

Oh I looooved my Canon Rebel, but I did give it up to buy a middle of the line digital. I know how you feel, though, I say keep going with it until you can't find a store to print them!

That's one thing I'm noticing. I still haven't gotten my film developed because I'm trying to find a nice place that can do them. I'm thinking Ritz Camera will probably be my best bet. All the mom and pop places I used to visit are out of business.
I suppose that if I ever can't find a place to develop them, I have photographer friends who could do it if needed. I'm tempted to learn for myself as well, because you can buy darkroom equipment so cheap now it's crazy.

I think that film is not going to die out. There will always be people who like it. But me, I prefer digital photos, because they're are cheaper and give me more freedom. If I don't like some photo I've just taken, I can remove it and I don't have to pay for it. I can watch photos immediately on my computer or TV. I can improve them on my computer and print without going out home.

I was just shooting with film earlier today. I have an older Nikon that I decided I'd rather learn to use than sell. So I'm having some fun learning it.
I didn't even realize until a few weeks ago when I was talking to someone about buying their Canon Rebel, that Canon makes that as a film camera. I guess I just never thought about it that film cameras are still being made. I ended up not buying it since I already have a film camera.
While I prefer digital to film for everyday use, it's fun taking photos with film that you know you'll want to save anyway. And it's just fun using an old camera too (I think mine is from the 1970s).

I like both. For scenery I like to use film, but for stuff like my kids I like to use my digital. I guess that way I can look at the pictures and just delete the ones that didn't come out like I wanted. Because you know kids.

I use Digi all the way, because I still have 20 rolls of undeveloped film in my kitchen cabinet, yet I took 7,000 digi pics this summer. I'm just not organized enough to get all that film taken care of, yet I download quick. Just my opinion.

I prefer film, but everyone else it seems, prefers digital. You gotta roll with the times, so I've been primarily shooting digital for color. For b/w, film trumps digital.
