Are you happy with your star rating?

I do take some pride with my rating but I also know that sooner or later it may change without my knowing why. By the way,congrats on your rating.

i do not have the right to question the rating which mylot gave... but i am happy with my rating anyway...

i dont really get it. they say its shows the activity you do on the site but i thought thats what the numbers next to your name were for? i dont know. I guess its ok it makes my avatar look better.

Hmmm I honestly do not understand what this whole star rating thing is. When it started I was at an 8, the next day 9. It hasn't moved for a few days so I am not sure how it works.

Your star rating is dependent on the ratings other people give you.. hence if they don't like what you have to say they can negatively rate your discussion, even if it was thoughtful and well researched.

Yes, I'm very pleased and also surprised to find a 10. It makes you feel like you've done something right, doesn't it!

I can't complain. My activity on mylot has been much like yours. I respond to the discussions that interest me and I try to make my contribution relatively lengthy and on topic. I rarely ever get into any kind of heated debate and I never intentionally say anything rude or uncalled for. I'm not nearly as active as many mylot members. I earn less than a dollar every day, but my posts are of good quality, which apparently makes a difference. Congrats on your ten.

i am happy with my rating ,it a bit high as i don't have created that much good discussions.but i am not complaining,it is a good thing as we could hope that people who post low quality discusions might get motivated at this and start doing quality work.i hope that mylot would change for better with this modification.and people might think that i am really good mylotian and start responding to my discussions more.

Star is just an indication how active you are on mylot, I am happy with it as I am not as active as those who are posting at least 100 discussions per day.

Well, I am happy with my 9, but I seriously have no idea how it was decided upon. Yeah, and I wonder what the low ones mean too, how did people end up with those?

I have a star of 9 since the star system has started, I'm happy with that and I think it's fair, I guess I didn't reach 10 because I oppose people many times and post controversial views sometimes that might make many people retaliate by rating me - , I won't stop doing what i do even if my star-rateing will drop in coming days, we should not just tell people what they want to hear or there will be no discussions here at all, people will just agree on any thing someone else says :(

not bother at all. for me it's just some happy for a while, because we don't pay for that, it's so pity, i think the rule is not good, because our work hard is un appreciated by mylot. good luck my friend and i hope there is some change in earn to be better and better in the future

rating is no bother me at all, because rating not make my earn increase, just like if my rate up. great to discuss with you
