Do you go to yard sales?
Do you have your own yard sales?
I go only very rarely to yard sales, I like them, but don't like going by myself.
We do, do our own yard sales too. We plan on doing our own yard sale this spring/summer. It was going to be a pretty small one, but now its going to be quite a bit bigger then we first thought I think, with how much we are getting rid of already and have gotten rid of.

I do often stop if I'm driving and see one that looks pretty good. I rarely go anymore as a day of adventure, simply because I can't walk as well anymore. (I sound like an old lady! LOL) But we do have one huge one at the end of summer locally that is to die for. It's actually so big and in a rich neighborhood that the people having the sales set up places to eat, including picnic tables and such. You can find everything from hot dogs, chili dogs, ox roast sandwiches (which is like beef on wick for those not local LOL), chips, soda, water, sausage sandwiches, subs and so much more! It's hilarious and lots of fun. You can find some great deals too!

The only time I have had a yard sale was when I was moving from Florida to here.
My partner had already been gone for 2 months and I wanted to reduce how much I had to pack up. So, I figured if I sold it at the yard sale, it would help with gas money and conserve space. LOL Plus, he wasn't there to stop me from selling the stuff. But I was considerate and made sure he wanted me to sell the things first. :)
I like going to yard sales to look at books. You can often get a book for 50 cents at yard sales! That's good for me because I love reading!

yes, i definitely attend yard sales as you can get some good items very cheap. I have not done one myself but have participated in my parents yard sales as well as my neighbors sales. I have sold movies and cassettes and cds. I may try and sell some stuff this spring and summer as well.

I'd like to go to more during the summer, but don't get many chances to. Now I typically do the drive by yard sale-ing. Meaning if I drive by one on the way to somewhere else and it looks like they have some good stuff, I'll stop.
As for having them myself, I've only done maybe four ever. I just never seem to have the type of junk that others would find to be treasure. Such is my lot though.

I don't usually go to yard sales since we don't have them out here. We have to drive a couple cities over to do them.
I do them occasionally, but they don't bring in much money so if I do one, it's very rare and it's more just for fun (or sometimes I sell the stuff and donate the money to an animal rescue).
It's fun to get rid of stuff though and hang out with family and friends. I thought it was a pretty safe event... but last time I did a yard sale, I ended up catching and bringing home a rabbit that someone had dumped! So maybe I'd better not do one again unless I have the space for another pet. Never know what will happen! But then again, pets seem to just run into me everywhere. I must have a glowing neon "sucker" sign over my head that I am unaware of.

I used to go to yard sales and garage sales anywhere that I could find them when I was a kid. I absolutely loved being able to find items for under a dollar, even if it wasn't something that I probably particularly needed *laugh* I realy haven't thought about looking around for such sales lately, but when I thikn about it it still sounds like a lot of fun. I wish you much luck with your yard sale this spring/summer! ^_^

Once warm weather returns our town is buzzing with tag sale fever. There is one or two that have the first of the season. You will see more people at these tag sales ready to scarf up the first buys of the season.
There is much money to be made at tag sales. I know people who will talk you down on your asking price only to turn around and sell it at sales of their own.

We go to yard sales sometimes. Most of the time they want to sell old clothes and books. And sometimes, you can get books for really cheap prices. But, one time my mom and I went to one yard sale and we found this great big cup that is almost like a bowl. It is a great cup and it is a really pretty bluish, purple cup!!
I think that only time that we have ever had a year sale was just before we moved to Oklahoma. We wanted to sell somethings before leaving and get some extra money for traveling!! It was really fun though. :DD

She is meaning a coffee bowl!
It's pretty awesome! I got it for only 50 cents and I was very happy with it.
The fact that it was the perfect coffee bowl for ice cream!!! :)
But I am not allowed to have ice cream anymore. :(
So I don't use it that much now.

Yard sales are cool! You can find that extra dish you broke last year or 5 years ago. Appliances, like a waffle maker or blender, are great finds, too. Some things are still in packages for real cheap.
