Should Scottish top teams join the English Leagues?

What do you think of the top scottish teams joining the english league? The scottish league is not as exciting as the english league and the title is in most of the cases won by either rangers or celtic. The idea that they should join the english league had been proposed, but they declined the offer. What do you think?? For my part, I think they should have joined the English league as it would have been more exciting.
