I always try to write encouraging quotes when I can to give myself a boost when I need it. Sometimes my other half will leave me notes and I'll leave him notes that brighten each other's days. For example, say I've been through a tough situation one day.
My other half will leave me a note the next day reminding me of how much I mean to him and how much he loves me. I try to do this for him as well, because I know things get hard on him from time to time. We both go through so much every day it's a wonder we're both still here.
I try to have quotes written down all over the room to inspire and provide some encouragement when someone feels down and needs something to make them feel better. I know that people in my life are not always going to be feeling one hundred percent great about themselves, so I like to give them a little something extra to give them a lift in their spirits if they don't feel to good about themselves.
I like to have positive encouragement around me because I haven't really had much of it throughout my lifetime. I've had so many people come down on me that it makes me want to have some positivity in my life, even if I have to bring that in myself.
I'm someone who likes to write in general so coming up with inspiring quotes is not a hard thing for me to do. I love writing because it's another way I can express myself and how I feel about the people around me. I've left countless notes for my other half every morning before he went to work beside the coffee machine. I think it helped to brighten his day and give him a boost if he was extra tired in the morning. I used to remember he would do the same for me as well when I was working. I'd leave a note for him and then he'd write me one back before he left for work.
I hope that sometimes the quotes that I come up with can inspire someone to contemplate life or even philosophical ideals. They can make someone take a look at their life in a whole new way and see it in a different light. They can help someone to strive for a goal they had previously thought they could not achieve.
So, in conclusion, I like to write out quotes or inspirational notes in the hopes that I can lift someone's spirits around me. If I can make just one person feel better about themselves then my quotes or writings have done their job.
Thanks for allowing me to share! xx

"Educate your children to self-control, to the habit of holding passion and prejudice and evil tendencies subject to an upright and reasoning will, and you have done much to abolish misery from their future and crimes from society." -- Benjamin Franklin
Who says we cant apply anything from the past to the modern day world???

Yes, I do. I find myself writing a lot! Whether it's on here or on paper. I love paper. I could write and write and write for days on end. I write everything down! I just wish I was more organized about it. I think writing is a great stress reliever. If you are really mad at someone~too mad to face them~ WRITE!! Write it down and get it all out...you'll feel so much better! I thought I was silly, glad I'm not the only one... :-) Care to share anything you've written?
