I am a doctor working in the field of HIV/AIDS , if you know there are new drugs which increase your immunity in HIV/AIDS and which have to be taken life long. One of the patient who had visited in our clinic is purchasing his own medicines. I told him that next month I may give him medicines free of cost after finding out the source but I am not sure about it. I found out a source and got the medicines also. Before the that the person called me when the medicines were not arrived. He said i did not purchase the medicines this month as you had guarantteed me the medicines and the gap of medicines is because of you. He started blaming me and also abused like anything. Actually in HIV/AIDS there should not be a single gap in the treatment. But the Gap was not because of me , Is this blaming me Okay? Should I provide medicines for such individual for which I tried so hard to get the medicines??

"ACTUALLY IN HIV/AIDS THERE SHOULD NOT BE A SINGLE GAP IN THE TREATMENT" i mark this phrase to empasize that it is not your fault.i think the patient knew that,so he must have a stock of medicine.you know some people just rely on the words that you say even you didn't make any promise.maybe his thinking that it can be a great help for him to save. WHAT DO YOU THINK DOCTOR?that's why he did not but medicine anymore and waiting for your charity.

If you had no reason to suspect that medicine would not arrive on time then I don't think you are at fault, but you should take steps to make sure that it ddoesn't happen again.
